This was a simple blog post I created about an email marketing tool called WiseStamp and even so the video was over 10 minutes in length which is really overkill. So this editing bay is important to start refining and editing the key points of your article and then at the end add a link to your website where they can get the full content piece or link to sales page.
Hi Lance, thanks for an informative article. I’m currently editing my YouTube videos on a 5year old laptop and Movie Maker. My problem is it crashes a lot and I have to exit and start over. I would like something with more features than Movie Maker and am also in the market for a new computer. Filmora or Power Director seems like it would fit my needs, but my question is what should I be looking for in a computer to handle all the video editing. Processor, graphics card, RAM, etc. Thanks again.
There are so many comments and I just can’t read them all. I need an simple advice. I started shooting short videos in 4k (I use Lumix G7) and I want to trim and combine them together and make a max 2min videos. So, I don’t need nothing fancy, just to add some music, transition effects etc. I saw your list but my main concern is if I could edit videos on my pretty low laptop configuration. Can you help me with this? Thank you.
We include Premiere Elements on the list mostly because it’s been an industry leader in the video editing game for some time. And $79.99 is not egregious, but we’re here to say that at that price, you’re mostly paying for the name. In the time since Premiere Elements’ inception, too many other products have surpassed it in speed and capability for us to place it among the cream of the crop. That’s to take nothing away from Premiere Elements’ usability, though—specifically for beginners.
Then I'm going to grab from our photo and just going to video template. Then we go to that now uploading and while the intros for our video intros is uploading I'm going to upload the other couple other images and if you want to find images and we love this as well they have a image finder that just goes out there gets creative comes with images completely for free all that stuff that you going to need to use in commercial videos because pretty much every video is technically commercial so you need commercial license images so that can happen just here, and because I always create intro....first couple of slides are intro slides or intro backgrounds I will just go and upload the images for these first couple as well. So I can speed the video up and we can fly through this slide creation super fast and get into recording the audio.
